Tagline writing is, in a way, like writing a mini mission statement.
A great tagline (AKA slogan), defines the true value of the business. In a very short sentence.
It may include:
- theirs or their customer’s mission, (Just Do It),
- an aspiration (Think Different) or
- what the business does (We have the meat).

Because we love taglines, we remember them, which is the whole point. Taglines are so powerful that they often become part of our culture and language. People quote them, copy them and create their own versions of them.
