Washington Intern Student Housing

What We Did

If there was ever an organization that belonged in social media, it is Washington Intern Student Housing (WISH). Network 9 guided them to an online strategy and website that uses social to galvanize, grow and support their vibrant community of Washington interns. The website redesign for this long-time client features serious website optimization that’s protecting their rank in search results while building their brand at the grassroots through blogging.

The Problem It Solved

WISH has an incredible network of Washington interns who live in the their buildings during their internships. They’re social hubs and a source of lifelong friendships and professional connections. Providing interns, the company, parents and WISH-alums with a platform to share and interact is a natural. We made it easy for WISH by setting up a blog they could manage themselves. In addition to an appealing site design, we also set up systems and brand guidelines they could use to continually freshen their their site content and imagery. The site is in WordPress, of course, so they can manage the content, blog and add photos at a moment’s notice.

Results

There’s so much going on in the WISH community and the kids are eager to be a part of it all. The company now has the tools it needs to easily and effectively engage with them. As a result, WISH is now at the center of the activity—not a bad place to lobby your market from.

WISH website redesign
This is the second redesign for WISH, the DC intern housing experts. This time, WordPress was implemented to give them control and editablility. All the images are of their interns, giving their site a very personal look and feel.
