Before and After…Change is Good

June 8, 2012

We thought it might be fun to look back and see the evolution of some of our client’s websites. The befores show where they began, many with starter sites from hosting companies, and the after, where they are today. Design and technology continue to evolve, and we are there to keep our client’s websites current and performing well.

Datagram

Datagram’s media clientele is edgy and cool. Their website needed to appeal to them, and to new prospects. With the redesign, N9 let the clients do the talking, and used real testimonials from clients as a graphic on the home page. The full screen, saturated, textured images capture the energy and sophistication that is Datagram.

Allergy Drops

Dr. Dean Mitchell had a basic starter website with little content and little traffic. N9, armed with a keyword analysis, redesigned his site to be appealing, informative, and built the menu and pages around specific terms. The result: a great-looking website that had put him solidly on the front page of Google for many searched terms, and has nearly doubled his business.

Wasser Russ

The first website for this growing law firm was a starter site from their hosting company. As they grew and their services evolved, they needed a more sophisticated design for their firm. The new brand identity and website design reflects the high level of services they offer, and shows a taste level to match their own.

Total Health Nutrients

Total Health Nutrients’ starter site didn’t match the nature of their brand. The redesign and rebranding changed the color palette to a healthier, lighter color that carried through to all their marketing materials and packaging. The new site has easier navigation and a clean back-end cart system. It is built in a hybrid of WordPress and ZenCart, and they are building a solid library of articles in their blog. This site has a healthy outlook.

KDDI Global

The technology giant, KDDI Global, is part of a Fortune 200 company, and their website needed to be there too. N9 redesigned their site and built the content to reflect the global nature of their services and make it clear to prospects what they do. Not an easy feat for the complexity of their services. Now they compete with the largest competitors in the world.

Washington Intern Student Housing

One of our oldest clients, WISH, provides housing to interns in Washington DC. Their needs evolved as they grew, and having a more social presence became important. N9 redesigned their site for the second time, bringing them into the WordPress world and creating a more powerful presence with their website. The brand is more defined, it is performing in the search engines splendidly, and the website design reflects the personality and energy of the interns they serve.

SheFinds

SheFinds was looking for a more more sophisticated brand identity and a design that would be on par with other fashion websites. N9 gave them a “Little Black Dress” redesign, that is a clean, edgy backdrop for their colorful content. The custom WordPress engine powers this site and allows content management by several editors. Everyone looks great in the little black dress.

Mr. T Carting

Mr T’s original website was long outdated, and bringing them zero traffic. N9 rebranded them with a more contemporary logo and revamp of their website. Engineered with keyword analysis in hand, N9 designed the site to look great to prospective customers and to the search engines as well. Now, most of their leads come form their website…now that’s a great after effect.
